内容简介:

Gender equity has made great progress, yet women remain under-recognized in the upper echelons of organizations, and the reasons unfold across very different levels of analysis. This talk brings together two studies that explore the same question from two altitudes. The first takes a micro lens, asking why women can go under-recognized in everyday team interactions. Drawing on advice-network centrality and prosocial motivation, it suggests how the work of closing recognition gaps may itself become a burden that women disproportionately carry. The second shifts to a macro lens, asking whether external news coverage can reshape leadership structures and influence. Together, the two studies trace how recognition is built up close, in the texture of daily team relationships, and how it grows across organizations through external visibility, offering an integrated view of both the barriers to, and the levers for, women's advancement at work.

 

演讲人简介

胡佳是清华大学经济管理学院与苏世民书院双聘教授、花旗集团国际商务讲席教授,曾任美国俄亥俄州立大学费舍尔商学院终身正教授、美国圣母大学商学院终身教授。她的研究聚焦亲社会领导力、团队有效性,以及科技对领导力与团队福祉的影响,成果发表于AMJ、JAP、OBHDP、PPsych等顶级期刊,被引超过12,000次,并多次被《福布斯》《财富》《哈佛商业评论》等媒体报道。她现任JAP副主编,当选美国工业与组织心理学学会(SIOP)及美国心理科学学会(APS)会士,连续三年入选斯坦福大学全球前2%顶尖科学家榜单,并曾入选全球组织行为学领域最高产的十大领导力学者。她还获得Poets&Quants"全球40位40岁以下最佳商学院教授"称号,以及美国管理学会领导力分会"中期职业杰出学者"奖,当选为中国管理研究国际学会(IACMR)候任主席。
