  • Prof. Shi Qinghua (1964-  ), male, doctor of Management. Born in Shanxi Province. Member of Chinese Democratic League. Tutor of Ph.D, Deputy director of the Institute of Rural Economics. Aetna School of Management, Shanghai Jiaotong University.

    Experiences:
    1982-1986 studied and obtained the degree of Agronomy Bachelor in Department of Agricultural Economics and Management, Shanxi Agricultural University
    1986-1989 studied in Department of Agricultural Economics, Ningxia Agricultural College, and obtained the degree of Agronomy Master at Department of Agricultural Economics, Northwestern Agricultural University
    1996-1999 studied and obtain egree of Management Ph. D. in College of Agricultural Economics and Management, China Agricultural University
    1997      exceptionally promoted to associate researcher of Shanxi Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
    1998      appointed as the Supervisor of M.A., Shanxi Agricultural University.
    2000-2001 Post Doctor at the Center for Agricultural and Rural Development (CARD), Zhejiang University

  • Innovation of Theory and Research Method:

    Prof. Shi raised Theories of Investment Distance Division” and System Credit Alleviation Rules ” successively; undertook empirical studies on the hypothesis of Rural Households Economic Rational Behavior” and fou  Assessment Methods of Farming Land Multi-directions Suitability”

    Awards and Research Projects:

    Since 1989, Prof. Shi has participated 37 research projects. Among them, he supervised (including thematic preside) 20 projects. Those projects include one international project, seven national projects and thirty provincial and ministerial research projects. 34 of them have been accomplished, and the other three projects are being undertaken. Prof. Shi has been obtained awards for Nation Science and Technology Advance 16 times. Two of them are first awards, five are second awards, and nine are third awards. Except one national third award, the others are all provincial and ministerial prizes. He was also awa  7 times for Excellent Achievements including three first awards, three third awards and one Key Scientific and Technological Achievement.
    Three National Science Foundation Projects that are being undertaken are as follows: Studies of Eastern and Western Rural Households Economic Development Mechanism and Government Management Behavior”(70173016) and Studies of Rural Households Savings Deposits Behavior During Rural Financial System Reform” (70141022), one National Social Science Foundation Project: Studies of Rural Tax Reform and Rural Households Economic Growth ” (03BJY061).

    Since 1989, Prof. Shi has written 14 books independently or cooperated with others. Six of them are monographs. And he has published more than one hundred papers on international and national academic journals. Ten of them have been awa .
