Dr. Li was born in Shannxi province. He got the Bachelor degree majoring in Mechaoletric Engineering in July 1995 and the PhD degree majoring in Automation in Dec. 1999 in Harbin Institute of Technology.

After having finished his two years long post-doctoral research work in the field of Computer Integrated Manufacturing System in Tongji University, he became a teaching faculty of Management school of Shanghai Jiao Tong University in July 2002 with the associated professor capacity.

Now he is the associated professor and adviser for master student of Management School of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

The main research field focus on: organization information strategy and management, ecommerce and digital economy, eBusiness innovation  and strategy, social media and virtual community，open innovation, technology innovation and managment, business model, knowledge management, organizaton innovation performance.
