ACEM Achieves Outstanding Results in 2024 QS Global MBA Rankings with a Perfect Score in Employability 2023-10-25
On October 25, 2023, QS, a global higher education research institution, released the 2024 QS Global Full-Time MBA Rankings, encompassing 315 MBA programs from 48 countries, regions, and special administrative areas. Among them, five MBA programs from Mainland China made it to the top 100 globally. Tsinghua, CEIBS, and Antai College of Shanghai Jiao Tong University secured the top three positions in Mainland China, with Antai’s MBA program ranking 62nd globally, maintaining its position in the top 100 for five consecutive years.
The QS Global Full-Time MBA Rankings are based on five key indicators composed of 13 criteria: Employability, Return on Investment, Entrepreneurship & Alumni Outcomes, Thought Leadership, and Class & Faculty Diversity. Employability is a core component of the employability indicator, and QS calculated the employment rate three months after graduation based on MBACSEA standards. Antai’s MBA program achieved a perfect score of 100 in this category. For the Return-on-Investment indicator, QS compared the average salary after completing the MBA to the average salary before enrollment, while also taking into account income loss during the study period, tuition fees, and living costs. This year, Antai’s MBA once again scored above 90, reaching a comprehensive score of 91.7, an improvement from last year's already high score and significantly above the global average of 62.9. These objective indicators reflect Antai's long-standing focus on students' career development needs, highlighting the program's emphasis on integrating theory with industry practice, deepening corporate cooperation, and providing students with rich practical platforms. The Dragon Team and Lion Team offer students cross-project, cross-cultural, and interdisciplinary corporate consulting practice opportunities, while the I-Plus paid internship program provides opportunities for in-depth corporate internships and early target position locking.
Antai MBA's outstanding performance in the "hard indicators" of employment and salary is also reflected in other international authoritative rankings. In the 2022 Global MBA Rankings published by the Financial Times, Antai MBA’s employment rate reached 100% within three months of graduation, the salary increase rate reached 160%, and the career progress rank was first in China and fourth globally. In addition, in the latest authoritative rankings and assessments released domestically, the Antai MBA program continues to shine. In the second round of the "Double First-Class" initiative of the Ministry of Education, the business administration of Shanghai Jiao Tong University became the only selected subject of its kind in the entire Yangtze River Delta region. In the latest round of subject evaluations and the first professional degree level evaluation, business administration, management science and engineering, and the master of business administration all ranked A+, establishing a gap advantage in the field within the domestic business school camp.
Looking ahead, the Antai MBA program will rely on top-notch faculty, continue to introduce top resources, and more closely integrate teaching, training systems, and management practice to cultivate “irreplaceable” future management elites with cross-cultural, interdisciplinary, and cross-professional capabilities. While solidly advancing academic innovation and talent cultivation, creating a diverse and sustainable career development platform for students, the program will continue to focus on industry practice, uphold social responsibility, and contribute even more to the development of China’s economy and society.
