For over a century, the Antai College of Economics and Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University has been the cradle of remarkable talent and a hub of intellectual excellence, a testament to its pivotal role as a witness and practitioner of China's higher education advancement. A galaxy of prominent figures, such as economist Ma Yinchu, accountant Yu Xijie, diplomat Xia Jinxie, among others, have nurtured countless outstanding individuals here, including cultural pioneer Master Hongyi Li Shu Tong, former Minister of the Propaganda Department Ding Guangen, former Chairman of the China Zhi Gong Party Dong Yinchu, artist Lu Yan, management education expert Zhang Zhen, and a host of distinguished figures, including two members of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Qingrui Xu and Wen Ling, and sports superstar Yao Ming.

With a hundred years of development, the Antai College of Economics and Management has now firmly established its position as one of the top business schools in China. The "Master of Business Administration" program also received an A+ in the first national professional degree evaluation conducted by the Ministry of Education. Antai was the first business school in China to receive the three major international accreditations from AMBA, EQUIS, and AACSB, and has top-tier students and faculty as well as a global presence with campuses in Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Singapore. In the 2023 QS World University Rankings by Subject, the college has made steady progress, with "Business and Management" ranking 32nd globally and 1st in China, "Accounting and Finance" ranking 39th globally and 3rd in China, "Statistics and Operational Research" ranking 43rd globally and 3rd in China, and "Economics and Econometrics" ranking 56th globally and 4th in China.
