Call for Applications: International Competence Development Program (ICDP) – Spring 2026 2026-03-27
The International Competence Development Program (ICDP), formerly “Corporate Lab”, launched by Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, is a short-term initiative designed to develop students' international competencies through real-world challenges from international organizations and companies. Participants collaborate in international teams on diverse topics—such as AI, new energy vehicles, social media, public health, and global economics —to produce research insights and strategic solutions with real societal impact. Through this experience, students strengthen their ability to analyze complex global issues while developing cultural awareness and professional collaboration skills.
Value to Students
Real-world Problem-solving & Impact: Under the guidance of faculty supervisors, you will engage deeply with authentic global challenges, applying academic theories to develop research insights and strategic recommendations that deliver real-world impact for international partners and organizations.
Cross-cultural Teamwork: Each team consists of 6 students from Antai and international business schools, bringing together diverse cultural backgrounds and academic expertise to collaborate in a global context.
Practical Learning: Gain in-depth understanding of the real-world environment and latest trends through direct engagement with industry leaders and international experts.
Project Recognition: Successful participants will receive an official Project Completion Letter, a valuable experience that can be included in your CV or resume.
Upcoming Projects (April – June 2026)
Project 1: Partnering with AustCham Shanghai, A2 Milk, Noumi
Title: Adapting to the New Normal: How Australian Products Can Thrive in China's Transforming Consumer Market.
Seats: 6 students. The project is open to Antai students and international exchange students from partner business schools. Priority will be given to candidates who have data skills or Australian background.
Project 2: Partnering with ELPOZO Alimentación
Title: Brand Integration Strategy: Adapting Iberian Ham to the Chinese Consumer Market.
Seats: 6 students. The project is open to Antai students and international exchange students from partner business schools. Priority will be given to candidates who have completed relevant coursework in Strategic Management and Marketing.
