Consul General of India Visits ACEM 2026-08-01

On the morning of 30 July, Dean Chen Fangruo met with Mr. Mathur Pratik, Consul General of the Consulate General of India, Shanghai, and his delegation.

Dean Chen extended a warm welcome to Consul General Mathur. He briefly introduced the latest developments of Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM), focusing on the practices of the “Master of Technology Transfer” (MTT) programme in cultivating interdisciplinary talents equipped with both technological and management expertise, as well as emerging challenges in business education.

Consul General Mathur expressed his gratitude for the warm hospitality and commended Antai’s efforts in integrating business education with technological innovation. During discussions on nurturing young talent and boosting exchanges between the younger generations of China and India, both sides held an in-depth conversation on trends in science and technology. They concurred that scientific and technological advancements serve as a key driving force for enhancing national competitiveness.

Consul General Mathur was pleased to learn that several Indian students have joined the Antai Global Summer Program this year. He reaffirmed that the Consulate General of India, Shanghai, remains committed to advancing Sino-Indian cultural and educational cooperation and will offer full support for Antai’s exchange initiatives with Indian partners.
