The 4th China Discipline Evaluation (CDE) Results
- China Discipline Evaluation (CDE) is a non-profit program organized by China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Centre (CDGDC), evaluating the disciplines of universities and scientific research institutions in Chinese Mainland in accordance with the Discipline Catalogue of Degree Awarding and Personnel Training (grouping the disciplines into 14 domains and 113 first-level disciplines). CDE aims to promote the disciplines construction of universities, improve the quality of graduate education and degree awarding, and offer the society the information of the quality of universities and scientific research institutions. CDE is carried out every 4-5 years.
- According to the percentile of the overall score, the top 70% of the disciplines are classified into 9 grades: A for the top 10%, B for 10%~40%, C for 40%~70%. The latest results of CDE (the 4th CDE results) were announced at the end of 2017, with 7,449 disciplines from 513 universities participating in the evaluation.

We achieved initial AACSB business accreditation in 2011. The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is the longest serving global accrediting body for business schools that offer undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees in business and accounting. In 2016 and 2021, ACEM was re-certified as an accredited business school by the AACSB for the next five years.
EQUIS is a renowned international system of quality assessment, improvement, and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration. In 2008, 2013, and, most recently, in 2019, EQUIS awarded ACEM with a five-year renewal of its accreditation in recognition of the school’s overall high quality.
We achieved initial AMBA business accreditation in 2008. The AMBA (Association of MBAs) accreditation service is the global standard for all MBA, DBA and Master’s degrees, currently accrediting programmes from the top 2% of Business Schools in more than 75 countries. We have extended our AMBA accreditation in 2008, 2013, and most recently, in 2019.
