Antai Boasts 10 Scholars Named in Elsevier's 2023 "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" List 2024-04-04

On March 27, 2024, Elsevier recently released its 2023 "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list, featuring 15 scholars from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) in three first-level disciplines: Business Administration, Management Science and Engineering, and Applied Economics. Among them, 10 scholars (including jointly appointed faculty) hail from Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM). The remaining 6 scholars are from the Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance and the China Europe International Business School.

The ACEM scholars who made the list are as follows:

Business Administration: Chen Fangruo, Liu Yi, Yin Haitao, Zhu Qinghua, Zeng Saixing

Management Science and Engineering: Dong Ming, Li Yuan

Applied Economics: Chen Gongmeng, Wu Wenfeng

Additionally, Professor Jia Weiping, a jointly appointed academician at ACEM, was included in the "Clinical Medicine" discipline list.

The 2023 "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list comprises a total of 5,801 individuals from 496 universities, enterprises, and research institutions, spanning 10 academic fields and 84 first-level disciplines as defined by the Chinese Ministry of Education.

The list primarily utilizes Scopus, a globally authoritative citation and indexing database, as the statistical source for the research output of Chinese scholars. 2023 marks the tenth release of this list.

It is worth noting that the "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list mainly focuses on authors whose research output is published under an affiliation with a mainland Chinese institution and is indexed in the Scopus database. The scholars must also be currently employed by an institution in China, including non-Chinese and non-ethnic Chinese scholars. The list only takes into account the research output of scholars as first authors or corresponding authors.
