The most well-known conference in ACEM is the biennial International Business School Shanghai Conference (IBSSC).
The International Business School Shanghai Conference (IBSSC) has evolved into a widely recognized international business school deans' forum, one of the most prominent international conference brands of the University.
Since its inauguration in 2006, the IBSSC has become the largest deans conference for business schools in the Asia-Pacific region, in terms of both number of participants and quality of speakers. The IBSSC is also recognized worldwide as one of the top influential and international business school conferences. At each conference, the IBSSC has invited more than 30 speakers from top business schools in the world, and with deans, associate deans and other leaders from more than 220 business schools, representing more than 40 countries and regions.
Due to its well-focused themes and the scale of global participants, the IBSSC is creating a steadily greater impact on the business education community of the world. Jointly held by EFMD and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, The China EFMD Accreditation Community Summit is themed by ‘How EQUIS/EPAS can improve your Business Schools’ and aims to provide a platform for Chinese business schools to improve strategic cooperation and share common issues. The summit will include high-level presentations from EFMD on the standards and criteria for EQUIS & EPAS with the input of senior Chinese Deans who will give a first-hand account of the accreditation process and the impact it has had on their schools and strategy. The Deans will also discuss a common problem, which is how to better integrate the accreditation standards with schools’ practices in the local environment.

The 2010 Econometric Society World Congress was the first to be held in developing country. It was the 10th World Congress of the Econometric Society and it was hosted by SJTU along with Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Fudan University, China Europe International Business School and the Chinese Association of Quantitative Economics.
In November 2009, Antai College hosted the first the AMBA's first Asia-Pacific Conference for Deans and directors. Participants in the presented their thoughts on regional issues and contributed to the shaping of management education in the region. The event was a great success and Antai was applauded for its organizational efforts.
