Bachelor's degree or equivalent. The degree must be ready prior to the registration day.

English proficiency document (IELTS 6.0 / TOFEL 85 or 4 / Cambridge C1 176 / Cambridge C2 180 or above)

GRE or GMAT is optional

    The application fee is CNY 800, non-refundable and non-transferable. Payment must be in CNY or USD.
    You can choose online payment or bank transfer in the online application system.

DOCUMENTS FOR UPLOADING

  • Degree certificates, in scanned files.

    Students in their final year of undergraduate study may be admitted on the condition that their bachelors' degrees are awarded before they enroll at SJTU.

  • Transcripts, in scanned files.

  • Valid TOEFL / IELTS / Cambridge proficiency report

  • Personal statement and study plan.

  • Two letters of academic recommendation from scholars who are associate professors or above, or senior professionals in a related academic field.

  • Scanned copy of passport and a passport-size photo.

Note:

Being born in a native English-speaking country is not a proof of your English proficiency. You will be deemed to have satisfied the English language requirements if you can provide evidence that you meet one or more of the following criteria:

i) English Language Tests 
ii) Prior study in the medium of English in English-speaking countries and regions.

Admission

The admission is based on a comprehensive review of applications, and joint evaluation of applicants' performance in interviews by the asseesment committee.

Tuition and Scholarship
