Strategy Development Analyst(Full-time/Intern)
Department: Strategy Development Department (SD)
 
Location: Shenzhen, China
 
Responsibilities:

• Analyze new business models and innovative Internet applications
• Monitor competitive activities and identify opportunities for growth
• Develop a deep understanding of consumers' needs, attitudes, and usage of specific Internet services
   
• Provide strategic analysis and recommendations over a broad range of management issues at corporate and business unit level
   
• Facilitate execution of key initiatives across business units and functions
• As part of the corporate strategy team, develop annual corporate business plan and budget

Requirements:
 

• This position is open to both graduate and undergraduate students
• Outstanding academic record
• Strong leadership potential as demonstrated by various types ofachievements
• High level of integrity, dedication and motivation
• Passion for the Internet
• Distinctive problem-solving skills and business sense
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Roles & Responsibilities (1st Year):

• Lead industry and economic research activities with a focus on theInternet field
• Participateand contribute in deal sourcing, evaluation, due diligence and deal execution process
• Participateand contribute in post deal company research activities
• Enhance and maintain the team’s knowledge base

Required Qualifications:

• Strong interest, passion, and business sense for Internet, investment and Tencent
• High level of integrity, dedication and motivation
• Bachelor/Master degree from top schools; ALL majors are welcomed
• Internship experience with top consulting firms and/or investment banks is a strong plus
• Excellent problem solving skills; Solid critical thinking skills
• Fluency in English and Chinese
