Prof. Judy Tsui

Professor Judy Tsui is the Associate Vice President, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Director of the Graduate School of Business and Chair Professor of Accounting at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). She holds positions as Honorary Professor and Visiting Professor at several top universities in the Chinese Mainland and is the first professor in Accounting that was awarded the Cheung Kong Chair Professor by China¡¯s Ministry of Education.
Recently she has been appointed as a Visiting Professor of the Research Centre for Social and Organizational Behavior of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a Visiting Scholar of the Sloan School of Management of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the USA. Currently, she serves as a member of the University Grants Committee and the Research Grants Council, the Financial Reporting Council and the Hong Kong Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation, appointed by the Hong Kong SAR Government.
Her research interests cover corporate governance, audit pricing, accounting and auditing ethics. Some 40 of her academic papers are published in top journals. She actively contributes to corporate governance issues as evidenced by her recently published co-authored book, titled ¡°The Governance of East Asian Corporations ¨C Post Asian Financial Crisis¡±.
