President of CCI France Chine Visits Antai

On May 21, a delegation of six representatives from CCI France Chine led by Mr. Christophe Lauras, President of CCI France Chine and Vice President of Accor Group of France as well as Mr. Alexandre Chieng, Vice President of CCI France Chine, as well as Mr. Nicolas Milonas and Mr. Mathieu Rochette Schneider, the board members of CCI France Chine visited Antai college. Prof Chen Fangruo, Dean of Antai College met with the guests, accompanied by Mr. Wang Haihui, Executive Director of International Cooperation Department from Antai College.

Mr. Lauras firstly introduced the basic situation of CCI France Chine. CCI France Chine, established in 1992, has around 2,000 corporate members in China, which fully represent brands and industries with French advantages, including luxury goods, pharmaceutical, energy, aerospace and other industries. At present, CCI France Chine has set up offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Kunming and other major cities in China, committed to promoting and deepening trade and business exchanges between China and France.

Prof. Chen Fangruo introduced the history and status quo of Antai College of Economics and Management to the guests, and elaborated the development strategy of "cross-boundary integration of knowledge and practice". The College is committed to building an innovative mode of close combination of theory and practice, and forming a virtuous cycle among practice, learning and teaching. In this process, it's hoped that multi-level cooperative relations are established with French enterprises in China to jointly promote the international development of industry research and practical teaching.

Prof. Chen Fangruo said that the College has established good exchange and cooperation relations with many well-known France colleges and universities, such as ESCP Business School and ESSEC Business School in France. China and France are both countries that attach importance to education, and there is still much room for collaboration in practical education. Later, both sides conducted in-depth discussions on China's consumer market and the development of higher education, etc.
