Since 2016, Antai College of Economics & Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and College of Business, Florida International University have formally established the reciprocal student exchange program, under which ACEM student(s) may be sent up to participate in the Master’s Project Course in FIU under a semester-exchange model. Students who are accepted by FIU into the program and able to complete each Master’s Project Course shall receive a total of 3 FIU credits. In addition, ACEM students would need to earn 6 additional credits during the exchange semester to fulfill US visa requirements. Syllabus for the Master's course and the tentative fall schedule with the other courses will be provided by FIU later. Two MIB students have attended the exchange program in 2016 Fall Semester (See Hami Usta and Anna Mikhalchenko’s intern experiences in FIU)

  • Open to all master students.

  • Good academic performance

  • Demonstrate good language knowledge:Native speaker / TOEFL with a minimum 80 / IELTS 6.5.

  • Have confirmation from your supervisor

Application Documents

You will be required for the following documents once you finish the online pre-signup.

  • Application Form 

  • CV/ Resume

  • Language Certificate

Please note you will be asked to present a DECLARATION OF FINANCES of around $12,000 to FIU if you are successfully nominated. It should be an official bank letter. 

Application Procedure

  • Submit the pre-signup online (see at the end of this page)

  • ACEM International Office will screen the applications. Successful candidates will be asked to submit the application papers.

  • ACEM International Office will send to FIU the CVs of the successful candidate(s) nominated by ACEM International Office and FIU will notify the acceptance.

  • FIU will prepare the paperwork for the visa and other related documents.

The requirement to pay tuition fees at the FIU is waived and the participating students will be responsible for all the other expenses related to their course of study at FIU. FIU may also require the purchase of medical insurance before the student’s visit. The estimated cost per semester may be around $12,000, and you will be asked to present a DECLARATION OF FINANCES indicating the sufficient of amount available.
