Antai Extended the Third AACSB Re-accreditation

On November 16, Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University was announced by AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) International Board of Directors to achieve extension of accreditation in business, which is the third time that Antai achieved business accreditation with five-year conducting period.
On June 20 to 22, Antai College of Economics and Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University welcomed the AACSB Continuous Improvement Peer Review team virtually. The PRT conducted a three-day evaluation and online material review through ZOOM meetings. 15 online meetings were held with college leadership, advisory committee members, teachers, students, administrative staff and other stakeholders, covering topics on the college’s mission and strategy, faculty, teaching quality, students, academic achievement, finance, and the social impact, etc. According to the AACSB accreditation standards (2013 standard version), development of Antai College in the past five years has been comprehensively and systematically evaluated.
According to AACSB peer review team, in the past five years, Antai has made remarkable progress in all aspects, especially in mission strategy, faculty, scientific research, AACSB Assurance of Learning (AOL) and other aspects. In particular, the “Industry Research” put forward by Antai College in recent years promotes a deep integration between practice and academia, and creates a new business school development model, which is an important innovation made by Antai College. It is hoped that the college will be committed to advancing its industry research strategy over the next five years, providing new ideas for business schools around the world in a changing environment.

The 5-year AACSB re-accreditation proves that Antai College has made great achievements in the past few years. As the first business school in China to be triply accredited by AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA, Antai will continue to hold on to the strategy to build a new model for business education that combines theory and practice, trailblazing a path towards becoming a world-class business school, rooted in China.”
