Antai College of Economics & Management (ACEM), Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), is proud to be the first business school triple-accredited (with five years) by AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA in the mainland China. We aim to develop highest-level managerial talents with international perspectives and the ability to compete in the global market. While focusing on academic research, ACEM is also committed to serving national and international corporations and institutions by providing leading-edge consultancy and industry research. 

To date, ACEM has partnerships with more than 100 well-known business schools in the world, and over half of them are, by FT, US News, and ARWU rankings, among the top 100 business schools. Currently, ACEM is a member of AACSB, EFMD, AMBA, AAPBS, GMAC, GBSN and UNICON etc. The International Business School Shanghai Conference (IBSSC), founded in 2006, is a leading conference brand of ACEM. Since its inauguration, the IBSSC has become the largest deans’ conference for business schools in the Asia-Pacific region, in terms of both scale and profile of participants and speakers.

Each year, over 200 undergraduate, graduate and MBA students go abroad for semester exchange, and ACEM hosts similar number of students from our partner schools.  Students can select from an offering of more than 100 English-taught courses at all levels. In addition to hosting international exchange students in our academic programs, we also provide customized study tours, summer programs, internship projects, corporate lab for international students from our partner universities.

During the past few years, ACEM has witnessed an increase in faculty internationalization year by year. The percentage of faculty members with overseas doctorate degrees has grown to 37%. ACEM holds long-term faculty training agreements with international partners, like MIT Sloan School of Management, USC Marshall School of Business, UBC Sauder School of Business.

With continuous efforts, ACEM has built up a full suite of international programs including Master of International Business (MIB) program, International MBA program (IMBA), off-shore MBA program in Singapore, China Leaders for Global Operations (CLGO) program. The college also provides joint-venture programs like SJTU-UBC IMBA program in collaboration with the University of British Columbia, and SJTU-NTU EMBA program with Nanyang Technology University in Singapore. In the latest international rankings, ACEM’s MBA, EMBA, Master in Management, were ranked in the 11st, 37th, and 14th respectively in the Financial Times. Three out of four subjects were ranked in the global top 50 by QS. 

In 2019, full-time faculty members published over 130 papers in SSCI/SCI international peer review journals, and published over 170 papers in international conferences as well. The college has established a number of international joint research centers - the Sino-US Global Logistics Institute in cooperation with the Georgia Institute of Technology, Carlson-Antai Research Center in cooperation with Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, Ross- Antai Joint Research Center in cooperation with Ross School of Business, University of Michigan.
