ACEM Worldwide Master Student Exchange Program 2017/18

Overview

Student Exchange program has experienced the long-term development and has recently made outstanding achievement in ACEM. Around 90 partner famous business schools engaged in the student exchange spread all over the world, including USA, Canada, France, Germany, Switzerland, Singapore and Korea, etc. In the academic year, one third of the enrolled students in master programs will have the opportunities to study abroad. They are expected to take the courses and to do research in our partner institutes for one semester.

Eligibility

All the 1st year students enrolled in master degree programs are eligible to apply. Specific requirements of admission vary according to the exchange programs and the host universities. General requirements are as following,

 

Have a valid report of TOEFL with a minimum score 90, OR an IELTS score of 6.0 or above, OR a GRE score of 150 or above, OR a CET 6 score of 480 above.

Note: Native English speaker or the applicants with bachelor degrees in native English nations can be waived.

Submit all the required documents on time.

Have the confirmation of your supervisor.

Decide which program and country is right for you.

Contact your supervisor about Credit Transfer.

Submit your Application files to Ms. Stephanie Shi before the Deadline.

Attend the Interview.

Wait for the Placement Results of your Application.

Complete & Submit Relevant Forms & Documents for Host University.

Receive Acceptance Letter.

Attend Pre-Departure Briefing and Apply for Leave of Absence.

Attend the Interview

The interview will be conducted in group setting. Please find the arrangement of interview below,

Placement Result

ACEM will vet all the applications carefully and examine each applicant’s academic performance, English proficiency level and interview score. The composite score of individual student will be ranked before offering a student an exchange place. The placement result will be announced on the website. Please see the assessment of composite score below,

Visa Requirements

Most countries require international students to apply for a valid student visa if they are planning to stay there for more than 180 days. Please check the requirements in detail with your host university or with the relevant consulates in Shanghai. Please bear in mind that failure to comply with the entry visa requirements may result in delays or even deportation.

 

Insurance

You should ensure that you are covered by comprehensive health, accident, personal property and travel insurance for your entire study period abroad. Before departure, please also make sure that you have met the health requirements of your host country. Some of our partner institutions may have some insurance schemes for overseas students, so please check with your host university for details.
