Application for China-Switzerland Governmental Exchange Scholarship Program for the 2017/2018 academic year has started. Interested parties please read carefully the announcement below, send a confirmation email to email@example.com before Sep 30, 2016 and hand in all the required documents to College Human Resources Office before Oct 18.
China-Switzerland Governmental Exchange Scholarship Program 2017/2018
1.1 Love socialist motherland, politically sound, have no criminal record, and willing to contribute to the construction of the country after returning
1.2 Must be of Chinese nationality, must be an employee of the college, must be in charge of or participating in research projects closely related to overseas study plan
1.3 Must obtain invitation letters from a Swiss University or Institute
1.4 Language skills must be approved by supervisor
1.5 Each applicant can only apply for one government-sponsored overseas study programme at a time. Candidates with pending results for other programmes will not be accepted.
1.6 Applicants for visiting scholar must be below 35 years of age (born after Nov 10, 1981) and with Master’s Degree or above. The scholarship is tenable for 12 months.
1.7 Applicants for post-doctorates must be below 35 years of age (born after Nov 10, 1981) and have completed doctorate in the past five years. The scholarship is tenable for 12 months.
Applicants must submit online application China Scholarship Council Information System (http://apply.csc.edu.cn) during Oct 15-25, 2016, and hand in the following documents to University Human Resources Office before Oct 25, 2016.

China Scholarship Council and its counterpart in Switzerland will conduct two rounds of selections and publish results on China Scholarship Council Information System in June 2017.
Successful candidates should follow instructions on the acceptance letter, timely submitting required documents and completing administrative procedure.
The program should start in Sep 2017, with details to be confirmed by the Swiss government. Those who miss the deadline will subsequently lose the scholarship.
