The QS World University Rankings by Subject draw on major global surveys of academics and graduate employers, as well as data on research citations drawn from Scopus, the world’s most comprehensive research citations database. ACEM’s performance in the 2018 QS World University Subject Rankings was a fitting acknowledgement of its internationalization and graduate’s competitiveness.
Dean of ACEM Zhou Lin said, SJTU ranked top 50 in 11 subjects, and Antai contributes 3 subjects. 8 other subjects belong to science and medicine. Antai holds an important position in SJTU’s humanities and social science.
“With steady increasing of Antai’s internationalization, Antai achieved a top 50 of 3 subjects in QS Rankings. SJTU became the only university in Shanghai whose business administration course entered the list of government-supported courses. This year 3 subjects ranked in the top 50 of QS Rankings, completing ACEM’s mid-term goal in advance. It is expected that two years later, ACEM’s Economics and Econometrics will enter top 50 in QS rankings.”
