Private Equity Investment After The Housing Boom

Introduction: 

Primary market investors in China have beening feeling the chill since 2016. As a new year kicks off, we are still seeing macroeconomic uncertaines such as the future of the regulated property market, fluctuations of the yuan's exchange rate and long-term debt problems, but also positive signs, faster IPO approval, gradual opening of the New Third Board, more mergers and acquisitions and further involvement of the 'national team', just to name a few.

Following the boom in the real estate industry, where will China's economy go in the next decade? Where to find opportunites for industrial development?

This Thursday, Li Jizhao, Director of Shenzhen Association for the Advancement of Financial Services for Hi-Tec Enterprises will analyse key indicators of China's PE market.

 

Speaker Introduction:

Li Jizhao is the Director of Shenzhen Association for the Advancement of Financial Services for Hi-Tec Enterprises and a PE investor. He is the former Vice President and General Manager of Mobile Products of ZTE Corporations and frequently advises Shenzhen local government on innovation and economic policies. 

Li Jizhao graduated from Dalian University of Technology in 1992 and has 22 invention patents to his name. He has subsequently worked in ZTE for 16 years, specialising in macroeconomic research and industrial trend analysis. Having entered the private equity investment in 2015, Li served in three investment companies, one of his investments, the Qianhai Mergers and Acquisitions Funds, have increased its value 15 times since Jun 2015, and another health project has also tripled in value in six months.
